by the past.”

- Innovation -

Innovation is the practical implementation of an idea.

Innovation is the practical implementation of an idea.

Often the term "innovation" is confused with "creativity", as though they were synonymous. Our belief is that "creativity" is the spark, the innovative idea. In contrast, “innovation” is the capacity of translating this idea into practice, into a profitable and sustainable business.

Peter F. Drucker wrote that innovation is the result of an analysis process, of constant review and great professional application, something which can be taught, replicated and learnt.

We share this opinion: there can be no useful and systematic innovation without analysis. This is why the BKey Consulting method requires the meticulous analysis of opportunities and critical issues in the following seven areas:

  • unexpected dynamics of own and competitors' success and failure;
  • positive and negative inconsistencies in any manufacturing, research, distribution process, or even in those pertaining to consumer behaviour;
  • needs dictated by new processes or technologies;
  • Structural changes in the market or sector;
  • demographic changes;
  • changes in the dynamics of consumer/customer perception;
  • creation or acquisition of new skills.
